My family and I live in Silver Spring, Maryland. We enjoy staying active within our community, swimming at the neighborhood pool in the summer, vacations, football (Go Ravens!), home improvements, riding my motorcycle and whatever else our active son gets us into. Keeping things simple and spending quality time with family and good friends is always a priority.

My background is in design. I went to college at Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Communications and a minor in Photography. After spending a couple of years at a small design firm in Atlanta, I moved to Silver Spring for a job in the creative department at Discovery Communications. I worked at Discovery for 10 years as a Designer and Art Director before leaving to start my own freelance design business and pursue other interests.

Why I got into Home Inspecting:
After a successful career in design I was itching to do something different. One of my passions has always been home improvement. I’ve enjoyed making improvements to several homes over the years, including redoing kitchens, bathrooms, building decks and many other general home maintenance projects. I also enjoy helping people. I realized that home inspecting is a perfect combination of those interests and decided to pursue a new career as a home inspector. In 2015 I was licensed and joined InterNACHI (the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and have been busy inspecting ever since.

My background, experience and drive to help people make me an excellent home inspector, and I can say with confidence that you will receive a detailed and thorough inspection and an all-around good experience.
